January Favorites

I am doing my first monthly favorites post. I will start off with beauty products. So, recently I have been loving the Nars Creamy Concealer. It has really good coverage and does not feel too heavy. I have been using it for over a year now, and I still love it. Another thing I have been loving is the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder. I use this everyday and it keeps me matte all day. Keep in mind that I have really oily skin, so this is great. I also recently hit pan on this. The next thing I have been loving is the Too Faced Natural Eyes pallet. It has four matte shades and five shimmery shades. My personal favorite out of the pallet is the Silk Teddy shadow which is like a champagne, shimmery color. I also love the Too Faced Candlelight Glow highlighting powder duo. It looks so pretty on your cheeks. My final beauty favorite beauty favorite is the Stila Stay All Day water proof liquid eyeliner. I am really bad at doing eyeliner but this makes it so much easier.




My fashion favorite would be my new jeans I got while in Chicago. I am really short so most jeans are too long but these are the perfect length and are really comfortable. Basically, I only wear dark wash jeans so these are perfect for me. I have a link to them in this post.

For skincare favorites I really like the Neutrogena Naturals range. Everything from the range smells so good and really helps with my acne.


Finally on to my random favorites. So if you don't know, I read a ton, so I have been speeding through the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. I am currently halfway through the final book and finished the other two in a few days. The series is really well written and has a great plot. The books in order are Shatter Me, Unravel Me, and Ignite me. There is a novella called Destroy Me from the point of view of the two boys in the series. Another random favorite is my laptop that I have had for a few months. I got a 13" Macbook Air and it is fantastic. I was my first big purchase that I have made for myself and am very happy with it. It keeps a charge for a very long time and does not glitch at all. If you are looking for a new laptop I highly recommend this one.

Chicago Shopping Haul

Recently, my family and I went to visit my grandfather in Chicago. I had a four day weekend because I had finals the week before so we got Friday off. My mom and I went shopping while my dad had lunch with a former colleague. My mom and I went to Water Tower Place to shop at some places we don't have anywhere near us. Our shopping experience started with my mom leaving her glasses in a taxi so we spent two hours at Lencrafters to get her new ones. Because of our little mishap we ended up having lunch at Noodles & Co. That was one good thing that came out of the whole experience!

We then went to Abercromie where I got these jeans and these jeans. I also got super cozy sweater.

We also went to visit the new ice skating ribbon at Millennium Park to skate. After shopping we met up with my cousin and had dinner with him and his girlfriend. All in all we enjoyed our little weekend trip to Chicago.

I also changed my username and url because I had to use this for a school project and showed it to the whole class. I didn't want any of them to find it so sorry if I confused anyone! I also apologize that I haven't posted anything recently I have just been really caught up with school lately.
