Valentine's Day Dance

Recently, I had a Valentine's Day Dance. Since I am on the student council I had to plan the dance and set it up. For treats we had cake pops and popcorn balls. I had on a black dress from Forever 21 that had a lace peter pan collar. My shoes were also from Forever 21, which were black flats with a small wedge and an ankle strap. I had on a small necklace that had a single pearl on it.

For hair, I curled it with the largest barrel in the Nume Titan 3 set. My hair has never curled and will only stay if I put a whole bottle of hairspray in it. The Titan 3 works really well on my hair and stays. With a titanium barrel it keeps your curls a lot shinier than they would be.

For makeup I used the Too Faced Natural Eyes Pallet. I used the shade Silk Teddy, which is like a Champaign pink color, and Honey Pot, which is a shimmery gold color. Under that  I had the Urban Decay Naked Basics pallet in the shade walk of shame. In the corner of my eyes I had Venus on in the same pallet. I had the Stila Waterproof Eyeliner. For mascara I used the Maybelline Rocket Mascara.

I had on the Porefessional Primer which I love, and the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer. I also had on the Rimmel Stay Matte powder and the Too Faced Candlelight Glow. I also had on the Body Shop Honey Bronzer, which I like since I am so pale that is comes in really light shades. I also had not the Fit Me blush.

Throughout the dance I reapplied my Rosebud Salve whenever my I checked my phone.

I had a lot of fun with my friends. We danced the whole time and sang until our voices were gone. One of the highlights was when one of my friends, who is really short, danced with the tallest guy in our grade. My friend was on her tip toes trying to dance. I had a really good time and I hope everyone else did too!

(I just blocked my friend's face just because she might not want her picture on here. Also, sorry that this was posted so late, it took me a long time to get the pictures uploaded.

Tyler Oakley Experience

On Thursday, after I got home from school, I was checking Instagram as I usually do and saw that Tyler Oakley was only two and a half short hours away. I told my dad this, thinking that he would not let me go, but he was not totally opposed to the idea. There was not very much information about this event, so we emailed the event planner. She said that you had to be eighteen years or older to go. We got this email after we went to see my mother to tell her the good news. Since most of Tyler's fan-base is younger that eighteen we decide that since this was not on their website they probably would let us in. My dad and I are not really risk takers, but we went anyway. We started off on our two and a half hour journey. We were twenty minutes away when we stopped at McDonalds. We had to eat it really quickly beacon there were not many seats in the room where Tyler Oakley would be. We arrived at the building after getting slightly lost, still unsure if we would be able to get in. We got in with fifteen minutes to spare. Korey Kuhl came out right before Tyler Oakley. Tyler sounds pretty much the same as he does in videos yet his voice is a little deeper. At the end of the show he made a Vine that took about five minutes to make. Right after he finished making the Vine he left. We filed out very quickly, as not to get trampled. Once I got in the car I mad a post on Tumblr saying that I had been, and fell asleep in the car afterwards. When I got home I went straight to bed, but before I went to bed I checked my phone and saw that Tyler had liked my post on Tumblr. Needless to say I was freaking out. Basically, that sums up the experience.

Side note: My parents got us tickets to go to Vidcon so yay! Also sorry the pictures are so bad, I was pretty far back and my hands were shaking really badly.
